  • Got slaughtered by another soccer team yet again. The total lack of team effort was unacceptable, especially when there were so many friends watching us .... Went to The Home Depot on Friday with my mom and we had a nice "conversation/argument" with the store manager. I used some pretty big marketing jargons and some clever psychology skills there. The manager was close to speechless until my dad told us to show the manager what HomeHardware was offering . The manager had a grin on his face afterwards cuz he knew his product was better and that I almost suckered him into a deal.... Troy was decent at best. I know it's based on a true story, but the ending was weak! Was there even an ending or did their 150 million dollar budget just ran out?... Biking the seawall was cool ! Got to hang out and take pictures with everyone (though some pics were not G-rated) .

  • Started yesterday at Central Park for Milanie's bday party. Hung out with the guys and played some football... Had some time to spare after the party, so I shopped around with Dennis and Jeannie. Saw a real nice shirt that says "wanna play doctor?" lol .... Then I headed to Jane's bday dinner. Great to see so many people again. The burger I was eating literally de-assembled itself in my hands .... Went bowling after dinner. I am one superstitious bowler. The sunglasses in the dark and the shoe on my wrist all resulted in strikes! I did pull 3 gutters in a row to start my game though ... We were about to pull a prank on Gladstone during soccer practice today, but decided not to, since the school board might see it as "vandalism" instead of "art" .... Watched Team Spirit: The Jordin and Terence Tootoo story. It's always nice to watch something inspiring and uplifting. As Jose Theodore once said, "It's not how you fall, but it's how you get back up." (If you don't know about the Tootoo's, it's definately worth reading.)

  • Had a rematch with the Japs last Saturday. The good: I scored a goal, the bad: we lost 4-2, the ugly: my arm is in pain! Could have had 3 more goals but it wasn't my day.... Was invited to watch a celebrity hockey game (for charity). It was a sad game. Attendance was poor and the "celebs" were unheard of. I only recognize a few NHL alumnis and TV celebs. Cuba Gooding Jr. was a no-show and the playboy playmate wasn't that hot (maybe I'm not as shallow as I think I am)... My computer was infected with a worm yesterday and John managed to fix it. Thanks John (and Jim too)!... Anyone know where I can hand in my resume to Mr. McCaw? I would really like that job!

  • For me, Grouse Grind is 90% mental and 10% physical. I can be one scary SOB when I'm determined to do something. I pushed hard and got a personal best, coming in at 48:38. My goal for this summer is to finish in under 45 mintues (and stop the swearing while I'm going up) lol .... A lot of friends went to the Grind and even more came over to my house. Felt bad cuz I made a friend wait an hour at my house before I showed up . Ended up watching Win a Date with Tad Hamilton and Old School. Win a Date was acceptable even though it was full of cliches. We all took turns predicting what the next line would be and miraculously we got all of it word for word . Old School was a disappointment. Besides this one scene, where a 20 pound cement block was tied to "a body part", the movie was pretty lame.

  • Finished my final exam. I'm free !... Way too much screaming at Pete's house during game 6 and 7. Not really disappointed about the Canucks cuz I knew they weren't going far anyways (especially when they were Bertuzziless).... If you don't know yet, yes I have moved again. That means there will probably be a get-together at my "new" house (it's newly renovated by my dad). I need to get used to the fact that I can't hug the walls when I sleep anymore or else I'll fall 3 feet off my Ikea bed .... Played a Japanese soccer team on Saturday (yes, they're from Japan). They managed to whoop us 7-5 this time, when we beat them 5-4 last time. Our first exibition game is on Thursday @ 8-Rinks. All fans are welcome.... Finally saw The Apprentice finale re-run on Sunday. Jessica Simpson was on it! Omarosa is such a bi-a-tch. I would have strangled her myself if I was Kwame.

Olivia: You are the weakest link, goodbye. (laughter)
Stewie: Ha ha ha! Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. You are the weakest link goodbye. You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. Hmm. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference, reference that outside the program before. Because that's what she says on the show right? Isn't it? You are the weakest link goodbye. And, and yet you've taken that and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. God what a clever, smart girl you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. That's so fresh too. Any, any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me toowe're  as long as hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. God you're so funny!
